DESIGN AND PROCUREMENT PERIOD

Due to the delayed procurement of the furniture package, this complex project had to be priced swiftly to move the manufacturing into place to avoid further set back. To support this difficult start, we facilitated urgent meetings with the client to resolve the design and budget issues to better suit their requirements.  The solution was to provide alternative board specifications to retain the desired appearance whilst allowing individual pieces to be released progressively to manufacture.

SITE LOGISTICS

Another central city location, this project required tower cranes and external hoists for delivery and off-loading.  Due to the unique and complicated nature of this project, we worked in unison with the main contractor to meticulously plan the on site distribution of the furniture.  We created a detailed loading diagram pin pointing access points on each floor of the building and individual specifics for each pallet including dimensions and weight.  This scrupulous planning paved a smooth and efficient path for a very tricky part of the project.  It minimised stress, time and money by the entire team knowing ahead of time how each delivery would be managed,  there was no delay or hesitation at the point of delivery and there was no damage amidst what was was an incredibly difficult job to access.
