DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION

 

This project was a new build for which already having an understanding of this clients requirements from previous projects in Newcastle, Durham, Winchester and Bournemouth we were able to workup solutions / the design worked for the client based on our understanding of their needs and preferences. This was critical to quickly confirming the design for the production and installation of the show flat for the marketing of the accommodation.

PROGRAMME & DELIVERY

 

On this project there were various issues, due to COVID restrictions and we worked with the main contractor to revise and reschedule the deliveries to suit the revised programme dates. The site team also experienced numerous challenges with the weather tight seals to the building which resulted in numerous rooms being damaged requiring the full strip out and reinstatement of replacement furniture. To resolve and minimise the effects we reviewed and agreed a plan / revised spec and detailing to expedite the works combined with weekend / out of hours working in the factory and on site to ensure this did not effect the clients completion date.
